CCAG Newsletter - 10 May 2003

At last we are able to confirm the placement of the steps for beach access. Work will commence on Monday 12th May. I am sure there will be a sigh of relief from visitors and locals alike.

The meeting with Elliot Morley MP to take place at DEFRA HQ on Tuesday 13th May has been confirmed and we look forward to putting our case for Happisburgh directly to the Minister.

The level of public interest over Happisburgh's plight has brought many visitors to see the situation first hand. Whilst we very much appreciate and welcome this, if you do come please please stay clear of the cliff edge, also the beach between the broken ramp and the end of Beach Road where the bay is forming and stay safe!

A new section has just been launched on the site, promoting the more positive aspects of Happisburgh. Any contributions or thoughts on "Why is Happisburgh worth fighting for?" gratefully received.
